Fall is a great season. The beautiful weather, changing colors and preparations for upcoming holidays make it an especially good transitional time of year. And while many flowers are dormant during this season, a popular fall flower is the chrysanthemum. Not only do “mums” come in varieties of shapes and colors but when planted, these flowers will bloom for years to come! These beautiful little flowers add vibrant color to your garden and home, and they are very hardy plants as well. I have provided some healthy tips to assist you if you wish to provide the environment and care needed for chrysanthemums to flourish.

What To Look For

  • Beautiful chrysanthemums in colors such as yellow, pink, deep reds and orange, purple and white.
  • A sunny place with good soil to plant the flowers.
